Procession Kiosk


 The Procession Kiosk was built on the exterior rampart of Topkapı Palace in order for the sultans to watch military parades. In 16th century, there was a timber wooden villa in its grounds.
The current building of the kiosk was constructed by the order of Sultan Mahmut the Second in West European architectural style.

Beyazit Tower


Beyazit Tower was built by architect Senekerim Balyan, who was employed by Serasker Hüseyin Paşa, under the command of Sultan Mahmut the 2nd, as a fire watchtower which was used to detect and extinguish fires around İstanbul.

Beyazit Mosque and Social Complex

Hagia Sophia Museum




The basilica, being built under the order of Emperor Justinian I between 532 and 537 B.C. on the grounds of a presumably pre-Christian pagan temple in the historic peninsula of İstanbul, was a planned patriarch cathedral, but was converted into a mosque by Fatih Sultan Mehmet after the conquest of İstanbul. The term “Hagia Sophia” means “holy wisdom” or “divine wisdom” in Greek language.
